A superb UK first edition, first printing copy signed by J.K. Rowling at the historic Natural History Museum Moonlight Signing Event held in London on 20 July 2007. Admission to the event was strictly limited to 1,700 ticket holders, making signed copies from this occasion particularly scarce and highly sought after. This exceptional example is accompanied by the complete original ephemera from the evening, including the large full-length event poster, the original orange event paper bag, welcome letter, quiz sheet, three stickers, promotional advertisement leaflet, the original event ticket, and the queue slip numbered 1176.
The book and dust jacket are in fine, unread condition, with sharp corners, a tight and square binding, and no fading. Internally, the pages are crisp, white, and entirely clean, free from ownership inscriptions, marks, or blemishes of any kind. It is a truly exemplary copy in stunning condition.
The volume retains the all-important holographic authenticity sticker and is fully authenticated by Adam Houston, “The Harry Potter Specialist”, widely regarded as the leading authority on J.K. Rowling signature authentication. The full authentication package accompanies the book, including a Letter of Authenticity, collector card, and exceptional provenance. The book is housed in a bespoke black leather clamshell case, with the title and author’s name stamped in gold leaf to the spine, completing an extraordinary and museum-quality example of one of the most significant modern first editions of the 21st century.
