Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

First UK Edition, First Printing, Bloomsbury 2007, Hardcover, Signed and Inscribed by J.K. Rowling with Provenance

This first UK edition, first printing of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was signed at the moonlight signing event at the Natural History Museum in London on the 21st July 2007, for which 1700 lucky ticket winners were admitted. The original owner Emily won her ticket through the bloomsbury ballot and attended the event with her fiancee Jim. According to the enclosed event ticket she was number 1102 and had an admission time of 3am. This particular copy is inscribed ‘to Princess Emily’ at her request and in the included handwritten note, Emily details the experience whereby she recounts that J.K. Rowling laughed and asked “in which principality?” The book retains its original Deathly Hallows hologram to the upper right corner and comes housed in a custom made black, half-leather clamshell case with gold gilt lettering to the spine.

The book and dust jacket are in fine condition without colour fading. The book is unread, with sharp corners and a tight, square binding. Internally, the pages are crisp and completely clean with no ownership inscriptions, dog-eared pages, or unwanted marks of any kind. This copy comes fully authenticated by Adam Houston, The Harry Potter Specialist, the world’s leading expert in authenticating J.K. Rowling’s signature. It comes with a full authentication package including a letter of authenticity, collector card, event ticket, and handwritten note.
