This particular signature is found in a first edition, first printing, hardback copy of The Casual Vacancy. The book was signed on 6th October 2012 on the second night of the Cheltenham Literature Festival, just over a week after it was released, and comes with the J.K. Rowling authentication hologram. Hachette Book Group confirmed that 1,000,000 copies of the first printing of the UK edition had been printed.
The book and dust jacket are in pristine condition with no fading at all, the pages are clean with no inscriptions or marks of any kind. The book is unread, the boards are square with sharp corners with no foxing to the text block at all. A beautiful example of a book and dust jacket in perfect condition.
