Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone

First US Edition, 22nd Printing, Scholastic, Hardback, Signed by J.K. Rowling, Fine

This signature is found in a first American edition, 22nd printing, copy of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. The book is signed in black ball-point pen and was signed during Rowling’s second American tour in 1999. This was when the Harry Potter phenomenon really took off in the US and Rowling signed thousands of copies of her first three books. In order to meet demand, many of Rowling’s signatures from this tour appear rushed.

The book and dust jacket are in fine, near pristine condition. It appears unread with clean, fresh white pages with no marks or inscriptions of any kind. The boards are square with sharp corners, a tight binding and no toning or foxing to the pages. The dust jacket is a perfect example with full colour, no fading, tears or flaws at all.

The signature comes fully authenticated by Adam Houston ‘theHarryPotterspecialist’ the world’s leading expert in authenticating Jo’s signature. It comes with a full authentication package including a letter of authenticity and collector card.
