Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s / Sorcerer’s Stone

This is the only Icelandic Harry Potter book released with original cover art. It came in two states, of which this the first state, the rarer and more sought after. Main differences between the two states are that the first state has Joanna Rowling on the front cover which was later changed to J.K. Rowling in the second state and an orange oval slightly darker in tone than in the second state.

This particular copy is in near fine condition, a lovely copy with no major issues. It has a neat ownership inscription to the first free endpaper (see photo), but aside from that, no marks or dog eared pages. The pages are still white, the binding is fairly tight and still square. A great addition to any Harry Potter translation collection.
