Bound in the distinctive blue paper-covered boards, this printing is the only edition of Chamber of Secrets issued in this format. The only other Harry Potter title to feature blue boards is the exceptionally rare first Canadian printing of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.

This example is in near fine condition. There is minor bumping to the head and foot of the spine. Internally, the book is clean, with no marks, writing, or ownership inscriptions. The page edges show only light toning, which is extremely common for this edition. The binding remains tight and square, suggesting it may be unread. The only internal flaw is a small scuff to the front inner pastedown.

Housed in a first-state, unclipped dust jacket, priced at $19.95, in fine condition with no color fading.

Overall, a lovely and highly collectible example of this scarce Canadian first printing.
