The Tales of Beedle the Bard

This is an extremely rare signed and numbered copy of The Tales of Beedle the Bard published by Amazon on 4th December 2008. This particular copy is number 23 of 100 hand signed and numbered by J K Rowling with the official hologram present to the same page. It is the only Harry Potter book title to ever be individually numbered.

This copy is a UK first edition, first impression deluxe edition in pristine condition that comes in a leather effect storage case, a white out sleeve, the original inner cardboard box and the original outer box that the book was shipped in. It is extremely rare to find this book together with all of its original packaging. The book itself is bound in brown faux leather with silver and jewel decor. It is kept in a silk bag and comes with ten illustrated prints inside of an envelope that slips into the opposite side of the deluxe box.

This is the most valuable and collectible edition of The Tales of Beedle the Bard to be published, aside from the original seven handwritten manuscript copies of the book. Of these, six were given out to people important to the publication history of Harry Potter and the seventh copy was sold at auction in 2007 for £1.95 million to raise funds for the Lumos charity.

The signature comes fully authenticated by Adam Houston ‘The Harry Potter Specialist’ the world’s leading expert in authenticating J.K. Rowling’s signature. It comes with a full authentication package including a letter of authenticity and collector card.
