Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

This is a first Canadian edition, first printing copy published by Raincoast in 1999 with the full number line 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1. With its beautiful blue boards this is the only printing of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets to have these boards. The only other book to also have blue boards is the ultra rare first Canadian printing of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.

This is a near fine book with some minor bumping to the head and foot of the spine. Internally there are no marks or ownership inscriptions of any kind and the page edges only have minor toning as is extremely common with these particular books. The binding is still fairly tight and square, possibly unread. Internally the only flaw is a small scuff to the front inner pastedown. The book overall is in lovely condition wrapped in a first state, unclipped dust jacket in fine condition with no colour fading, priced at $19.95.
