This is a first edition, first printing copy of The Cuckoo’s Calling, the first book in the Cormoran Strike Series published by Sphere in 2013. This is the most valuable book in the series with it being the first to be published. The book is pristine, unread with a tight binding, the boards are square with sharp corners and without any flaws. Internally, the pages are bright and clean with no inscriptions, marks or foxing of any kind. The dust jacket is in stunning pristine condition, unclipped, without fading and protected in mylar.
The book has J.K. Rowling’s hologram attached adjacent to the title page which is signed in thick black sharpie by Robert Galbraith (J.K. Rowling). The book comes with the original event ticket from the ‘Theakstons Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival’ in Harrogate on Friday 18th July 2014.
