Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

Urdu Translation, First Edition, Oxford University Press

The Urdu translations of Harry Potter are considered some of the rarest and most difficult translations to find. According to Peter Kenneth ‘thePotterCollector’ in his YouTube video from 2019 titled ‘Rare Harry Potter book translations from around the world,’  book 3 Prisoner of Azkaban is considered one of the hardest Harry Potter translations to find.

Published by Oxford University Press, only books 1-4 were ever published with book 3 only published in hardcover, never in softcover.

The condition of this particular book is extremely good with no colour fading at all. It has a square and tight binding and presents really well. It does have some minor shelf wear to the corners, the spine tip and base, but overall it’s one of the best you’ll find for this particular book. Internally, the book is extremely clean apart from some marginal toning to the page edges, which is always the case. There no ownership inscriptions, stamps or marks of any kind, which is rare to find amongst foreign books.
