Harry Potter and the Philosopher Stone
First Edition, Macedonian Translation, Kyntypa 2001
The Macedonian translation of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone is considered one of the six most difficult translation to find, according to Peter Kenneth ‘thePotterCollector’ in his YouTube video from 2019 titled ‘6 extremely hard to find Harry Potter books.’
This is a copy in near fine condition with some very minor edge wear and a slight crease to the upper right corner on the front cover. There is no colour fading at all, with all pages in tact, Internally the pages are a crisp bright white with no marks of any kind. The only things to note is the one neat inscription to the first preliminary page along with the very top right corner of that first page which seems to have been cut off. Aside from this, the boo would be a fine copy in excellent condition overall.
There are two variations of the Macedonian translation for book one. This is the first edition with the deeper red cover and has the young brown beard wizard on the rear cover rather than Dumbledore which we see in the later edition. Both variations are just as hard to find and are equally as valuable and collectible as each other according to Peter Kenneth.
