The Nepali translation of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone is considered one of the most difficult translation to find. Peter Kenneth ‘thePotterCollector’ states in his YouTube video from 2019 titled ‘6 extremely hard to find Harry Potter books’ that ‘the Nepali translation is easily valued at $1500-1600.’ He states that there was no confirmed print run from the Sunbird Publishing House, and being published in Kathmandu, it is considered that many of the books would not have survived, and those that have are usually found in poor condition.
This copy however is in fine condition, completely unread with crisp white pages, no colour fading, no inscriptions or writing of any kind. The binding is tight and square, with just a small bit of wear to the upper spine tip. Overall the book is in excellent condition.
