Harry Potter and the Philosopher Stone
Rare Macedonian Translation, Kyntypa 2002
The Macedonian translation of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone is considered one of the six most difficult translation to find, according to Peter Kenneth ‘thePotterCollector’ in his YouTube video from 2019 titled ‘6 extremely hard to find Harry Potter books.’
This copy has been read, it has all of the pages present and in tact with no obvious rips or tears. There are some creases to the front and rear cover with some minor damage to the top right corner. All things considered, this is in pretty good shape compared to many of the Macedonian books i’ve seen. The interior of the book is extremely clean, with no writing or any inscriptions of any kind, which is extremely rare with foreign books.
There are two variations of the Macedonian translation for book one. This is the variation that has a more pink colouring to the front cover as opposed to a deeper red and has Dumbledore on the rear cover rather than the younger brown bearded wizard. According to Peter Kenneth both variations are just as hard to find and are equally as valuable and collectible as each other.
