Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix
First UK Edition, First Printing, Bloomsbury 2003, Hardback, Signed & Inscribed by J.K. Rowling ‘To Chris’
The book presented here is a rare example of an inscribed copy of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. The book has been signed and inscribed in blue ink ‘to Chris’ on the half title page. The original owner noted that he received the book as a birthday present when he was 10 years old in November 2003 by a late family friend named Pauline who also knew J.K. Rowling. Inscribed first edition copies of Order of the Phoenix are one of the hardest Harry Potter books to acquire signed.
In near fine condition, this book has a tight binding and appears unread with extremely white fresh pages and full colours to the book and dust jacket. No internal markings, no ownership name, it is entirely clean inside with no spotting or toning at all to the pages which is extremely rare with these books. The spine tip has been very slightly bumped with a small crease to the spine base. The dust jacket is in fine condition, priced at £16.99, not price clipped with no fading. It is a crisp dust jacket protected in mylar.
This first printing copy comes fully authenticated by Adam Houston ‘theHarryPotterspecialist’ the world’s leading expert in authenticating Jo’s signature. It comes with a full authentication package including a letter of authenticity and collector card.
